Indian IT stocks extended their decline for a second consecutive session amid broader weakness across global technology markets. TCS shares fell 2.41 percent, while Infosys dropped 1.51 percent; HCL Technologies shares declined 3.5 percent.
The pressure was echoed across Asian markets, with Japan’s Nikkei falling around 2 percent and South Korea’s Kospi dropping more than 6 percent. Analysts said investors were likely to remain cautious until upcoming US services sector data provides more clarity on the economic outlook.
